Hi folks! I really need your advice with a situation I'm living right now. I've been friends with this girl via social network over the past couple years. We met one day at a party, had a brief conversation, and that's that. Sometimes I posted something and she replied to or liked it. Over the past two weeks, however, our interaction has grown a lot. It started by discussing the 2012 London games. Later, she invited me to watch some of the competitions at her place. After that, we started to text each other a lot and, most importantly, she accepted an offer I made a month ago about going to jog. We have been training together early in the morning for almost a week and everything is going smooth. Most of the times I make her laugh and she has been asking me a lot of details about my life as well as telling me personal things and other stuff about hers. She has recently broken up with her boyfriend and I've been kinda listening to her. She says I help her feel really good.

I'm starting to like her. You know, in a romantic kind of way. I'm not really there yet, but what I want to know is if I'm on the right track. How could I avoid being friend-zoned? Am I seeing things where there are none? Could this be the real deal? Thanks.

I don't get this whole friend-zone crap. If I am attracted to a guy, I am not going to friend-zone him unless he does something that proves to me that we would not be a good match. Which in that case, we shouldn't have been in a relationship anyway.

Just be yourself. Either she likes you or she doesn't. Or she could grow to like you. But if she already likes you, you aren't just going to get friend-zoned. Make a move on her and invite her out somewhere that could only be interpreted as a date.
