The only problem its a stick shift and I have no idea how to drive stick. This is where my ex comes in.... he always drove stick shift and told me stories about how he learned and how he was going to teach me to drive his car someday. So today I was trying to learn to drive stick shift on my new car and basically I was awful at it. So for the rest of the day I really wanted to text my ex and talk about it and ugh I know it sounds stupid but he loves cars and we used to talk about them all the time. But anyways instead of texting him and seeming desperate, I decided to share with you guys. Thanks for reading and feel free to share with me 1

Learn from one of the other millions of people who know how to drive a manual transmission vehicle and talk about cars. Stay strong.

I know that will be hard for me, we talked about everything to each other. But it will be something that I will have to learn not to do. I'm glad you are staying strong! Thanks for replying and i totally know what you mean it's hard to go from telling one person everything to them not even being in your life anymore :/

Here were i live all cars are that way and its not so hard! what i do is i put 2nd when i reach 15/20km 3rd at 30km 4rd at ~40km and then at around 60 i put 5th , you just got to master it and to hear the engine, but its not that hard. And yes i understand the thing about telling each other everything, tomorrow my dad is going to get a surgery done, and if i was with my girl she would come to my home and hang out with me the whole day, but that aint going to happen tomorrow :'( you just got to be strong and go through this, things get better with each day.

Until now, I still prefer manual than automatic and I'm not even sure if I can drive automatic transmission, LoL! Ask one of your cousins or friends who knows how to drive manual. Contacting ex for that matter is just an excuse...

I took my first driving lessons on stick, and I'm glad I did (ya never know when a tractor job will come along... LOL). You still can go out and learn - just find a school that can teach you.
