Lauriebell82 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I was a little heavier then usual prepregancy. I already lost all the weight that I gained during pregnancy, now I'm trying to get back to the size I normally am before I put on weight again. What is frustrating is that I keep plateuing. It's incredibly annoying. Any tips?
Titanwolf Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 -Calculate your maintenance calories, then eat 500 less. -Intermittent fast -1g protein/lb of lean body mass -Try not to drink your calories -Lift weights (You will get HYOOOGE!-Myth) - Fit foods you enjoy into your diet (ice-cream and such) - If anything, hitting your protein requirements are most important, as the more muscle you have, the harder your body will work. Work hard. Edit- http://www.meh.ro/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/meh.ro5100.jpg
brahmabull117 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 lift weights + cardio Go to bed a little hungry/eat smaller portions Moderately high protein diet That's all I do and it works great for me
Titanwolf Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Also, if you feel as though you've plateaued again, change your routine and incorporate a refeed, preferably on the weekend, to jump start your metabolism again.

Titanwolf Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 What's a refeed? The Preemptive Refeed Hope that helps. 1
