My husband and I were married 22 1/2 years. We seperated a little after 11 years.We remained friends and never argued, we even rode to some events of our children together.He makes 112k, plus retirement, 401k, companty stocks and profint sharing.He gives me $800/mth. We had our 1st child 1 1/2 years after we got married followed by two more, one is still a minor.I married at 18 and never got a higher education, he did. We agreed the I would be a stay at home mom.After we split it was hard to find a job that made enough $ to support 3 kid. I was getting the $800 month from him but still..... Last August my best friend asked me if I was ok with here going on a date with him.I said I didn't care, what was I gong to say?This is a unwritten friend law that I would never break.She said our friendship would always be firts.... yeah she was naive.Since, it has been nothing but trouble.I can't stand the way she treats my kids. Their is is totally different dad, one I didn't think he was capable of being.We have not talked since Jan., my kids are really hurting. They didn't go thru this crap 11 years ago, so they should not have to now.I have filed for divorce and that has made things even worse, because of asking for 50% of retirement & stocks for the years we were together.Also, for full custody os my daughter, he is never home, always at her house and my daughter does not want to go there. I have NEVER said a bad thing about their dad to them, but it is getting harder each day to keep my mouth shut. Oh, and I don't talk to my so call friend anymore either. This has made such a mess of everything. What sould I do? My kids say they wish that things could be when we all got along. Only one thing has change.... HER! I don't want my kids to end up hating me. I would love any advice on how to handle this. There is alot more to this story, but this gives you the basics.

wow. What kind of friend would do this!? Well... a friend would not do this, no way! This reminds me of that new country song... I got an ex old man and a ex best girlfriend.... I am sorry you have to go through this, it really sounds awful.
