dreamingoftigers Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I've had some really bitter moments with my husband. I've still loved him and would be devastated if he died. I doubt there were many if ANY happy widows after 9/11. 3
Author Woggle Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 Wog, do you know the song "Don't Give Up" by Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel? I cry every time I hear that song, feeling the love and compassion the wife has for the husband. You should look it up I will look it up. The reason I have these freakouts is because I try so hard to get past this gender war crap but then I feel I get smacked back to reality. What would pull me out of this is if women treated men on here with the same compassion and respect they demand from men. Is it too much to ask people to treat others the way they would want to be treated?
Author Woggle Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 Gah! Your mother! Noooooo! You can not cite your mother as a representative of how women feel. Your mother is a sick woman. But I wonder if most women feel that way about their husbands.
samsungxoxo Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I don't like men that are serial rapists, future Chris Browns, child molestors nor drug addicts. Would that make me a misandrist? 2

Is it too much to ask people to treat others the way they would want to be treated? You can't allow your mental health to be dependent on the mental health of random people posting here. LS will always draw the fringe element. If you look for it, you will also find a LOT of compassion and respect for men shown here on LS. Read the marriage forum! Read this thread and contribute something about your wife (no men have posted yet!) But I wonder if most women feel that way about their husbands. Very few women feel that way. And the ones who do are psychopaths. 2
Disenchantedly Yours Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 She saved another woman. Would a woman be as selfless for a boyfriend or husband? I think women make many selfless choices for their boyfriends and husbands everyday. I don't know if women react the same to events the way men can, but I do know that women make sacrifices for those they love. Do they throw their bodies infront of their loved ones? I am sure sometimes they do. But if they don't, do we judge them for it? There was one man in that shooting that ran from his family, his wife and children. He left them in the theater to get out. I am not blaming him. I can't imagine going through that kind of thing. He just reacted how he reacted. Would it have been better if the other men in that shooting ran too? I don't know. I do know that they were heros for what they did and their life is no less worthwhile then the people they saved. Here is an interesting article about how men and women respond to illness. It appears that men are less likely to stick around for the long term if a mate gets seriously ill. Men are more likely
Author Woggle Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 I must admit that thread made me feel much better. It really does make me feel good to hear women expressing appreciate for the men in their lives like that. 1
Disenchantedly Yours Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 i just stufed 200 marshmelos down my fat throt What? No chocolate and graham crackers???? Dude, you just did a huge disservice to the marshmellow. 1
udolipixie Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I would think we would both be trying to save each other. The way some women talk I wonder if they wouldn't be happy if their husbands died. My mother used to say that 9/11 created a lot of happy widows who were glad to be free. Is this really how most women think of their men? Likely those women who talk that way would be happy if their husbands died no different the way some men talk those men likely would be happy if their wives/gfs died. Bit curious as to why you apply the negative things some woman say to the majority of women yet don't do that for men. Is it because you gravitate to those likely to be misogynists since they have your back?
Disenchantedly Yours Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 the choclat and gram crakers are all over my ne white rug. its ruined. I don't appreciate you placing those arbitrary ethnic terms to your rug Sir!
Disenchantedly Yours Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 your home yo! You got it right! Good job.
Author Woggle Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 That thread with the women showing their appreciation really made me feel better. Can we at least agree that the gender hatred needs to stop on both sides no matter who you may or may not feel is worse on this forum? 3

Can we at least agree that the gender hatred needs to stop on both sides no matter who you may or may not feel is worse on this forum? Pretty sure most have already stated that and that you and the likely misogynists you sided with were the only ones saying otherwise.

Can we at least agree that the gender hatred needs to stop on both sides no matter who you may or may not feel is worse on this forum? I'm glad it made you feel better. You'll never stop finding examples of hatred. You need to accept that there will always be a fringe group of loud, screwed up people. You just don't need to BE one of them. 2
udolipixie Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 your a homosexual Nope if I was a homosexual I wouldn't be saying "Unfortunately I'm homosexual" or "Sadly I'm a homosexual woman" as my opinion is for romantic/sexual options it's far better to be a homosexual woman than it is to be a heterosexual woman. 2
Disenchantedly Yours Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 cosmetics should be completely banned. You can spell cosmetics but not cracker? 1

Disenchantedly Yours Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 females waste bilions on cosmetics Don't forget about how much we spend on crackers! Billions times two! 1
udolipixie Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 your a fattie No I'm quite thin technically underweight though I have curves. This trolling is amusing as I find the classic insults such as gay/fat/ugly to women amusing especially in a thread titled 'Do a lot of women just not like men'. 2
Bristolius Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 i ate a marsgnmelow and a craker Your best post ever. 1
