andymb79 Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I'll try to keep this short. My ex girlfriend and i have been together for 4 years. We've had some short breakups here and there. I'm in my lower 30s and she in her upper 20s. We lived together for over a year and often talked about getting married and starting a family. I felt like i treated her good and she always told me how much she loved me. About 2 and a half weeks ago we had planned to spend the day together on my day off. That day she decided to go out with her mom and blew me off the entire day. A few days went by and i figured she needed space since we've been thru this before. I went with the no contact. A week later she text me happy birthday at midnight on my bday. I replied thank you and continued no contact. Today has been 2 weeks later. I decided to text her and tell her to have a nice day. She replied that she would try and that she was at the store. I just said ok. A few hours later she started texting me about her new job and some other small things. Any opinions or advice. Am I reading too much into this. I do still love her and would like her back. I forgot to say during the last 4 years she has left me and came back a short time later. Thanks.
veggirl Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 She sounds very immature. She never actually broke up with you but instead has gone no contact? Is this what she did in the past? That is really uncool, esp after 4 years! Wow! I would call her and ask her what is going on. If you both want to reconcile, I would sit down with her and have a serious talk about communication... Why did she leave you before?
