Thinking about telling her what I've learned about myself, good idea or no?

So I've been thinking about going to my ex's room and sitting down and talking to her about what I've learned about myself and my behavior that's caused her to want to break up with me. We're living in the same dorm with 11 others at the moment and we're about to leave for home next week. It's been over a month since we broke up.

I've learned that I really was insecure, needy, clingy, forceful, pushy, argumentative, and just downright mean sometimes, and I want to convey this message to her, the message being "I get it, I messed up, and I'm sorry, you were right to break up with me."

We're being "cordial" right now amongst the other roommates, and we've talked with each other amongst them, rarely in private though.

I don't expect her to be attracted to me again, I just want her to understand that I get I messed up with her.

I have a fear it will backfire, or she will not want to hear about it. If it does go over well, I do want to try to make a move to get her back, but only if it goes over well.

Would this be good? Or not? Your thoughts, folks?
