Its ok, ur only human and are prone to some mistakes, we all do it, just remember how u felt today and learn from it, keep ur head up

yeah i know man ill go almost a couple weeks and think "hey maybe she'll talk now, and if she doesn't its ok because i'll still feel the same its just a text." But don't fool yourself...you start right over from square one. NC gets easier each day but that first week is so brutal.

I wouldn't say you start exactly at square one, but you do take many steps back. You feel complete **** again for sure.

Oh I don't intend to break NC again. If she contacts me though, I may respond.

 

I actually feel better about messaging her now. I wrote a couple paragraphs about what she meant to me and how our relationship impacted me, and that I'm okay with us splitting apart and wishing her the best. It provided a sense of closure/resolution I guess you could say, rather than feeling like I was lost. I feel like I can actually move on now. That relationship is over. I'm a better person for meeting her, even if we have to go our separate ways. I can accept that now and carry on with my life.
