But now you are both single. There may not be any outward interest but the guy is interested in the girl. How do you even go about asking this friend out on a date? There is absolutely nothing that will prevent the pending awkwardness. A rejection or a failed relationship will be nothing but a mess because ALL your mutual friends will know about it. What do you do??
