irc333 Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 When I saw the, "Why short women don't favor short men" thread. I saw this profile of an angry early 40's woman that had in ALL caps, mentioning 3 times, in CAPS, "DO NOT EMAIL ME UNLESS YOUR 6 FEET TALL!" Then ranted about how men that she specified that aren't her height to STOP EMAILING HER! Then later in her profile she states, "Just an FYI, if you're looking for a woman who looks like a super model, move on to the next profile." Actually saw a couple of these, but honestly, I find it rather hypocritical to make demands of a nature in a man, then later int he profile, they recognize how not-too-attractive they are and not expect men of a certain type to contact them. I wonder if they even know what they're typing. LOL 2
Emilia Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Same when a 40 year-old man wants a 20-year old girl. Some people are deluded, be grateful you find out before meeting them. 1

Emilia Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Wants or demands it in their profile multiple times? There is a clear difference. Really? How is it different when a 40 year-old man puts age range 18-25 for girls from a woman demanding the guy is at least 6 feet tall in capital letters? It's only a reflection on how men don't read profiles in OLD therefore she feels she needs to keep emphasizing what she wants.
El Brujo Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) Mnyeh. Women who put that stuff in their profiles only SAY they want such men so they can get a kick out of rejecting them. They want to see if we're dumb enough to fall for it. I know how it works. Edited July 1, 2012 by El Brujo

They want to see if we're dumb enough to fall for it. I know how it works. I sometimes wonder if they are provoking a response from her audience. I think half the time, the people on these sites are trying to be show ponies or just trying to get giggles out of it, and then turn off the computer to hang out with their real time friends. Or sometimes invite their real time friends into her home to shoulder surf as they poke fun at the prospects.
Woggle Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 People who are superficial themselves should not be mad when they are judged by superficial criteria.

How many 40 year old men actually have their preferred age range as 18-25? Odds are, it's far less then the number of short women wanting tall guys.
FitChick Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Just because people want something doesn't mean they'll get it.
