Jackson3491 Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I started dating a lady last week. We seemed to hit it off real well and have seen each other every day. She has an OLD profile and I had one that was hidden and used for forums only. She seemed what I was looking for when I was looking at profiles so I messaged her. Now I don't message anyone but she just caught my eye and her profile was something I was looking for. I added her as a favorite of mine so she would be able to tell if I was online. Last night on the phone she was telling me that the other guys online didn't interest her anymore and she really liked me a lot. Well I like her too so this morning I deleted my profile because I was forums only and I have no desire for OLD anyway and would really only care to date her. I talked to her today and told her that I deleted my profile and only wanted to date her. Now I get the feeling that it wont be long before she perceives me as needy and dumps me. I have been down this road before even though she told me first she only wanted to date me now that I have done this I will probably get dumped. What do you think?
TigerCub Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I don't think what you did will get you dumped. She told you first that other guys don't interest her and she likes you. She probably would think its sweet that you just deleted your profile cuz you want to see only her. Don't stress about it - and just play it by ear. I don't think what you did makes you needy.

Because that will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
