fortyninethousand322 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I lost my virginity shortly before I turned 22. I don't think I was 'awkward,' 'weird,' 'hyper-religious,' or anything like that at all. I could've lost it when I was 19 to my first boyfriend...but I knew he was a loser and I disliked him. I didn't feel he was worth the loss. I never slept with him. The second boyfriend - we dated for a year. I'm not the type of person who sleeps with someone after a few months. We had sex around the year mark and were together for nearly four years. I probably could have 'lost it' sooner had I started dating younger and had I dated higher quality guys. But it never had anything to do with being a weird loser. Three points: 1) I clearly stated there are exceptions and 2) I also said 21-25 or thereabouts. Not everyone is at the same place at the same age. 3) You had a boyfriend. That doesn't make you completely "inexperienced" .

It is only a coincidence that the person you referred to is sexually inexperienced. Your description of her is rather repulsive though. You sound like a jerk. I'm betting she dumped you because you were selfish and thought you could continue to take advantage. Too bad for you. She was a girl in her mid 20s, college educated and was my secretary. No one was taking advantage of anyone.

What actually motivated the thread was another thread saying how inexperienced guys shouldn't be touched. I found that very unfair and I was taking a counter point to that ridiculous thread. I never understood the big deal with work place romances. It wasn't a pump and dump. We met up about once a week for about 6 months. It was more a fwb.
