El Brujo Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 A couple of weeks ago I bought a copy of the Complete Idiot's Guide to Chess. I always wanted to learn how to play chess, but most of the people I know who played were out of practice. After I got through the first couple of chapters that tell you how the different pieces move, it all made sense to me... chess teaches you how to plan ahead. Much of what I'm learning about chess applies to dating. Now, I've just finished designing my 1st board for playing 3-way checkers, and I heard about an org that sells 3-player chess. If you can get into playing something as complicated as 3-way chess, you're definitely no slouch.
Eddie Edirol Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Care to be specific as to how planning ahead applies to dating?
SmileFace Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 (edited) Are you going to date this chess board? I don't think having a 3 way with a chess board will be good, someone can feel left out. Third wheel dates are usually always awkward. Edited June 16, 2012 by SmileFace
Author El Brujo Posted June 16, 2012 Author Posted June 16, 2012 chess is nerdy. women dont do nerds. Their loss, not mine.
Pistol pete Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 You should really read the recent thread 'Best date you've ever been on', not all girls dig chess, but that goes to show that some do
utterer of lies Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Care to be specific as to how planning ahead applies to dating? The only way a pawn like you can get a queen is as part of some elaborate foursome?
