avon20 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 So the girl I have been talking to for awhile now has talked about marriage in a hypothetical way. She said if she and I get married she wants a certain minister to do the ceremony. Does it really mean anything when a woman talks about marriage in a hypothetical way or should I just write it off as just her making conversation?
Philosoraptor Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Sounds like she was giving a little test to see your reaction. How did you respond?
Author avon20 Posted June 2, 2012 Author Posted June 2, 2012 l laughed out loud because at the time I thought she was kidding.
phineas Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 sounds like she setting you up to be her #1 orbiter. women who are really into a guy would never say that stuff before you are even dating for fear he'd think she was clingy or crazy & move onto a different woman. My experience anyways is any woman who talked like this to me was a major attention whore and it never went anywhere.
Author avon20 Posted June 2, 2012 Author Posted June 2, 2012 Then she is exactly what I need in my life seriously. She is a rare breed to not want a commitment from me and that's what makes us good for each other because I am commitmentphobic myself. I am hanging on to ger and enjoying her as long as I can. I am not compatible with most women my age because they want to get married, settle down and have kids. This girl I have been talking to says she does not want kids and she sounds pretty sure of that. So at least we have that in common.
