Hello,

 

I just broke up with my gf who I dated for a year, it was a mutual break up since we had problem so it was ended in good terms.

 

Since her birthday was this week, me and her friends had planned a surprise birthday party I think she knew we were planning cause just before we hung up she was like I know you guys are planning for my birthday and it will be already if you come since it will be with friends.

 

I feel really sad since we ended, I dont know if I should go to the party or just skip it. I hope some day we could be friends since we ended it well.

 

I am soo confused any help is appreciated

Skip it. A break up is just that. Move on.

Don't go. It's her birthday and is about her. You might be able to be friends later in life, but not any time soon. NC and move on.
