start-fresh Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 If a woman basically breaks up with you/isn't sure what she wants, do her friends ever encourage her to stay with the guy if they liked him? I was just dumped so obviously I'm grasping at straws here. My ex has commitment issues (I think) because she had a really bad breakup of an engagement. She hasn't been serious with anyone since (2 years ago). She let that relationship go on too long so I feel like the whole time with me she has been looking for reasons it won't work, rather than enjoying the relationship for the good parts. Her best friend had no idea it was coming because I had just talked to her the night before, and she sounded like she thought we were going strong. I did too She doesn't date much and so I feel like since I was a 'rare good guy' or something that they would at least question her on why it had to happen. We're both in our late 20s and dated only about 8 months.
january2011 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 It depends on the nature of the friendship, the girl, the guy and her friend. Since you already know that you're grasping at straws here, you must know that there isn't really a definitive answer that can be applied directly to your situation.
