If you were out on a date when a life or death situation just so happen how would you react? One of you has to die you or her :(.

No one's life is worth more than yours-- except maybe your child.

Neither.

I have been threatened with murder, and I managed to weasel myself out of becoming a statistic. In such life and death situations, I'd probably have a better chance than whomever I was with. So I'd volunteer myself.

LOL like a first date or something? I'd instinctively save myself, I assume, and I would expect my date (who I'm guessing I'm just getting to know) to save himself first too.

It would depend on her willingness to go dutch.

If it is a first date at McD (as you suggested in another topic), then I suppose it would be chivalrous to have her burger as well.

You know that plane announcement: "In an emergency situation, always secure your own mask before assisting others"? The same holds true in emergencies. You wouldn't be much help to your date if you were dead, so I vote one should always protect their own life first. That said, try to avoid the Titanic for a first date.

Your date would indeed thank you for putting your health on the line instead of hers.

Always remember, in a life or death situation, your only requirement is the ability to run faster than others around you.

What kind of life, or death situations are we talking about? Being held at gunpoint, or seeing a semi coming head on?
