Bald. Bad Teeth. Or a bit of a gut? Just kinda wondering on this. Say a dude comes up to ya with decent looks, and hair, but bad teeth. Or bald, but decent look, teeth, and maybe a bit of a beer gut.

I like to think I have decent teeth (mostly white and straight). Not Gym Guy/Mr. Six Pack body, but still good shape. And I keep my hair pretty much buzzed all year long. I guess what I'm wondering is when I'm at a club, bar, concert, etc. If a girl takes a look at me, but I don't see any interest, what could it be? And yes I do shower, shave, and all that.

Oh wow. All of these things!

I would say baldness is the worst because it shows bad genes. Then the bad teeth because you don't wanna kiss that (but it can still be fixed) and then the gut, cuz that's just an indicator of his lifestyle and not necessarily something he can't change.

(When you say bad teeth I imagine a bomb of teeth going off in his mouth, brown stains and awful breath). I must admit, when a man smiles and has beautiful teeth, I blush a little lol

Definitely the teeth.

Baldness isn't something within someone's control, so the only way that would turn me off is if they had a horrible haircut (combover or long hair trying to detract from the balding).

A gut isn't a big deal to me either. Until I am perfect, I wouldn't expect perfection from someone else.

But bad teeth - that's a big turnoff. I would not be able to kiss someone with poor dental hygiene or who just didn't take care of their teeth. YUCK.

What do you do when a girl looks at you? Then do you go talk to her? Or do you just assume you see no interest, so you drop it?

Well, some young men are voluntarily bald, and I think a shaved head can look hot if the guy has the right facial structure. When you say bad teeth, do you mean crooked, yellow, or missing? I wouldn't fault a guy for having crooked teeth, as long as they were white and healthy. My own teeth are not perfectly straight since I never wore braces, but they look fine.

I think the beer gut would turn me off the most. That's only gonna get worse with age. And for most men under the age of 40, it only takes a little regular exercise to keep the belly flat. So if he's got a beer gut already, it means he's totally sedentary or he drinks way too much.

Since I like bigger men and think receding hair/baldness is sexy, I would definitely have to go with the bad teeth.

Well, if I see she smiles, keeps a bit of eye contact, or even approaches me, then of course I'll go say hi and talk to her. But if all I get is a look with no hint of interest, then I really do see the point of going over just to get rejected. Saves time, saves dignity. Saves drink money..ha

Definitely teeth. I might not be attracted to someone completely bald, but guys who are balding are kind of sexy to me. And I adore a man with a rounded belly. A big, ugly beer gut would probably not attract me though.

When it comes to body shape, how the guy dresses makes a difference to me. A guy with a big beer gut with his pants under it so the back of his jeans hangs down to his knees is not attractive to me. I need to be able to see his a$$!

I have a missing tooth. It's near the back so it isn't too bad, but it's the one thing I'm horribly insecure about.

Bridge is out, since there's a crown sitting next to it. Talking about 3k + to have it fixed (implant). I might just jump for a loan to have it done. It will max out my expenses the way things are currently... all this for one tooth but it bothers me a lot.

Bad teeth are #1 on the list of turnoffs for women. You can have some pudge and thinning hair, but a great smile can go a LONG way. It's the best way to flirt, be charming and get noticed... and is your very best first impression.

Op if you have bad teeth get them fixed if you can. Make that your first priority. Trust me on this.

Every girl I know tells me that bad teeth is a big turnoff. Some girls don't like bald guys (a lot do though), and quite a few are not a fan of the beer gut (washboard or 6 pack). But teeth is the biggest problem for women I've found.

Luckily for me, teeth is one of my strong points :D

None of those things bother me. I even think imperfect teeth can be charming. Depending on how bad or not bad it is. Although, fresh breath is a must. :)

An alternative if you can't afford good dental care is to go to a dental school. Dentists have to practice on someone and every step is supervised so there isn't much risk. Most are licensed dentists who are learning the latest techniques.

An implant is usually done in three steps, with about two or three months in between each step so you have time to save up for each step. Call and ask for their price. Most procedures generally cost half. Years ago when I was unemployed I got a root canal done for half of what my dentist charged.

Bad teeth is a turn off, especially when one is missing or they are a strange color or something.

I would be most opposed to the beer gut. Actually, it might be a dealbreaker.

I don't mind bald or bad teeth. As long as your teeth are clean I'm happy. I'm fine with crooked or not completely white teeth. Actually, I prefer teeth that are a bit imperfect.

How big of a gut is a beer gut? I'm a little chunky, but proportonately. Are we talking washboard or bust?

Biggest dealbreakers that will not get him a second date:

Obvious fake teeth or he having some missing

Bad breath and he stinks

Still having to pay when he's the one asking me out and it's his invitation

Too much muscles to the point it's disgusting: no hulks but just average

Bad teeth. And by "bad", I'm thinking discolored or otherwise poorly taken care of, not necessarily just a bit crooked.

I'm OK with a bit pudgy or with balding. It's all in the presentation, which is why bad teeth is the worst - just indicates not caring.

go to Thailand. Same price and you'll get a couple of weeks holiday as well.

dental work in thailand is really good and cheap as chips.

bad breath is a turn off, or body odor. lack of hygiene.

i would like to add ..there are a lot of great dental services that are very affordable and could greatly help you in life, in thailand, etc.

i have a close male friend whos past the age of 30 and never had sex, hes always shy around girls. mind you he is very attractive but he is missing a tooth. i always wondered why he never had it replaced even w/ dentures or something. it has made so much impact on his social life and added a lot of anxiety to him.. :(

A missing tooth near the back wouldn't bother me. You have to get it fixed though because its opposite tooth in the other jaw that usually touches it when you bite will keep growing.

Bald doesn't bother me. Bad teeth like really yellow or crooked ones do. A beer gut definitely does

Are you out of your mind? What bad genes does baldness indicate? Baldness just means that the haircells of a guy react in a certain way to his testosterone. Of which he very often has plenty (Very often bald guys have a lot of hair on the rest of their body).

There are loads of handsome baldies with great smiles and great bodies.

Bad teeth is a lot worse news than being bald.

Bad hygiene. Bad teeth. Bad breath. Bad odor. Dirty nails. Awful feet.

I kiss feet so I can't be with a guy that has dirty and rough unpleasant feet.

Pimples or Acne (face/back/ neck/nape). Definitely all that's bad :D

Yes, you should go to see your dentist if you are not a cave man.

Yes, you should go to gym and follow a diet if you have a beer gut.

But, if you date inside your league, you can be yourself. Therefore, if your teeth are bad and you have a fat stomach, go for girls with the same qualities.
