The Kid A Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Okay, so below are two summaries of my relationship with this girl. Long version and short version. We hit a rough patch in March, but have been taking it slow. We're both very busy. Especially me. Our relationship in the beginning was very fast and very affectionate, but then we hit the aforementioned rough patch. So, the last time I took her out was 2 weeks ago, and when I dropped her off, I kissed her at her doorstep. 1 lingering kiss followed by a quicker "peck." The week after, she and I had exams so were not speaking too much, but this past week, we talked a fair amount. Any way, I took her out for some drinks yesterday. We were together for about three hours, laughter, good time, etc. She playfully would touch my arm and like an "Oh stop it!" and gently push me. At her doorstep, she said we should try to do something next week, and offered to make me some food because I'll be busy studying for exams. Really great things, right? Well at her doorstep, when I dropped her off, I was looking to engage in a little lip-locking action, but when we stepped towards one another, she kissed my cheek instead. I was kind of taken aback and didn't know how to read that, so I just left it as it was. Hugged her again and left. I was curious what you guys thought about all of this? I'm a little baffled. Was she flirting, was she saying I like you, but lets go slow, or was she saying let's just be friends. dasein Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 4 months? Turns cheek? Get out yesterday. Move on to other options.
sid3 Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 4 months? Turns cheek? Get out yesterday. Move on to other options. A kiss on the cheek doesn't always necessarily mean the kiss of death. But Yeah, 4 months is a bit much for that.
