While he was gone, he texted me every day to make sure I'm not dating other men. He just got back in town and made a plan to take me to a great restaurant. My question is this: he lives on the other side of town. Why doesn't he want to meet on his side of town and after dinner, we could spend some private time at his place? Why does he want to drive all the way to my side of town (30 mins away), pick me up, and probably drop me off after the dinner? Is he into me? Is he trying to keep his distance, by not taking me home?

Is he single / separated / divorced? 5. Have you EVER been to his place? 6. How did the 2 of you meet? My first thought when I read your post was.......he's married/otherwise involved.
Pasttense Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 My guess is that he is a slob, like a huge number of other men and women, and doesn't feel like spending several hours cleaning his house--or won't have the time since he just got back from the trip.
