DollWelch Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Some men, at least. Just in the last few weeks, I have had 2 men come crawling back contacting me out of the blue. These are 2 men I have ceased contact for quite a long time (more or less) due to various reasons. Why do men do this?

Could be that they've got nobody and want somebody to fill in until they find someone more suited to them. Or... it could be that they realised they were stupid for not making more of an effort with you.
carhill Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) It happened to me once in my 52. Said good-bye and 'crawled back' about 14 years later. I was smarter the first time. Why? Pretty simple. It was either reach out to someone which I had felt a very real and long-lasting intimate emotional connection, or check out. I chose to live. That's it. Edited August 2, 2011 by carhill
