He is someone I've known for a year, but had never considered dating, because: -he is on the shy side ("not my type") -I was never struck by any chemistry between us -he had never expressed any interest -my friend had a crush on him Then one night, after having moved to his neighborhood, I was looking for something to do, and decided to ask him out for a drink. He took it as a date and revealed that he'd liked me for a while. We had a really awesome time - I found him surprisingly funny and easy to talk to. By the end of the night, we were making out all over the place. And it's been amazing ever since. We went on a few legit dates, and began spending the weekends together. I hear from him at least once a day, and he's the first guy that I can talk to on the phone. I respect him, I trust him, my instincts are all totally positive. He accepts me, but doesn't enable my bad habits. There are no red flags or question marks whatsoever. He makes me laugh, and we can't keep our hands off each other. I want a future with him! I'll give it another month before declaring I'm in love.

That's the kind of challenge we need---someone who won't enable us but is still just there and loving us all the time. Glad things are going well! (*We/us in this context meaning all people, IMO.)
