mayoutze Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Well I thought the first and second dates were the hardest, turns out that the third is driving me cr... So here is the story, I met this girl on Friday, we wen't out for dinner and both said that we wanted to see each other again soon. I called her the next day, we chatted for 30min and then decided naturally to go out for dinner and then to a movie. Second date went very well, she seemed a little more distant during dinner. Here are the details (no not that kind of details...) I am Swiss and on the first date we discussed how Swiss people kiss on the chicks even on first dates and that american hugs... At the end of the second date, I drove her back to her place and in front of her house chatted for a moment and then she said something along the lines, you can say goodbye the swiss way of you want. To which I replied can I do both the swiss and us methods to which she replied yes with a smile. I kiss her on the chicks, hug her and both are very much reciprocated. Upon leaving she dropped the fortune message that she got earlier at dinner (fortune cookie) and smiles. Reading it it says "The one you love might be closer than you think". What really bothers me is that all the above seems to indicate that she wants to see me again and is quite attracted too but then she said "So we'll see each other in 2 weeks?". 2 weeks because I invited her to an event which she accepted but why on earth not sooner, what does she mean??? My dating skills are rusty, help!!!
UT_longhorn Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 sounds like it went well. no reason to wait 2 weeks. in fact, she probably wants you to contact her before then. It's Monday...shoot her a txt. Ask her how her weekend was. Go from there. Maybe ask to hang out...
sunnysideplz Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 play the field, cat and mouse bro! give a little and take back a little. The excitement about dating is the CHASE. So play a little and have fun. Overall it seems everything went great. Dont rush it and play your cards right!
