I called them out on it and unsuccessfully tried to talk to them about it, but they would have none of it and the relationships ended with no contact as a result. I have since had the odd silent witheld number telephone call (not regular) which I was left wondering if it was either of these girls. We dated in the summer, had a great time, she flips out, I call her out, don't hear from her for months. Months pass and she says hello over e-mail or myspace or whatever, we get together again, have a great time, she disappears again. Another 6 or 7 months pass, and she e-mails me out of the blue and starts talking about stuff going on in her life, I tell her what I have been up to. She says something about hanging out in a weird way (like I implied that I wanted to hang out or something), so whatever, I wasn't seeing anyone so I take the offer. We meet up, have a great time. Want to take her out again next week, she initially agreed, up until the day of. We argue, a few days pass and she wishes me happy birthday, we talk on the phone, neither of us are doing anything, we go see a movie. The following week she told me about some art and music show, so I agree to take her. This was on her birthday. So we meet up, she is super flirty with me, and again, had a great time together. I don't hear from her for over a week, I ask wtf happened, she sends me an e-mail saying she has been super busy, that I should be more respectful, blah blah blah. I haven't spoken to her since. Moral of the story: don't wonder about this crap. Just move on. People like this are damaged goods.

In addition this one would call me on a witheld number, pretend to be a crank caller making strange noises and voices and then hang up - only to call me 5 minutes later (number not witheld this time) being herself. I would confront her about the previous call to which she would deny any knowledge of. This wasn't a one off - she did this many times.
