lastresort Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I have been hanging out with a really cool girl lately, the last month or so. We have been going to the beach, camping, water parks with the kids, planning on going on a trip to the Sierras for a few days. The problem is I am not divorced yet and she doesn't want to be a rebound. At least she is honest. We have the same interests and my STBXW never had an interest in any of my hobbies or my profession. SHe told me tonight that she will not even go out on an actual date with me until i am legally divorced. All though we have a great time together. She is going through a crazy custody battle, right now she has 100% custody of her son. The days she goes to court i watch her son for her.Not sure if i should wait it out or just move on and find someone that doesn't mind dating a separated man. my divorce wont be final until October. I never believed in "Soul mates" but we talk about how weird it is that we found each other and the timing is just not right. Just confused. I worry if we wait the 3 months, until my D is final, we will be too good of friends to let anything else happen.
