counterman Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Hi all, I recently asked a girl out from one my classes at uni. It was an impulsive thing. I spoke to her a few times before but they were only the usual stuff about how work is going, etc. I saw her again and had no intention of asking her out when I spoke to her but as she was about to leave, I asked her go. She said no, and I was okay with that and told her. She then asked for my number, which I think was her "letting me down easy" and I got hers. I have seen her a few times since then and it seems as though she is avoiding me. We even sat across from each other and she didn't say a word. Is it because she is uncomfortable knowing that I may be interested in her and that she's not attracted to me? Is she scared I'm going to ask her out again? I wasn't a jerk about it or anything... Like I said, it was on impulse. I am not fussed by this but rather I am interested in another girl who happens to be in a few of my classes. Now, if I ask her out and things don't go well, I don't want to have any awkwardness between us because chances are we will be in the same classes for years to come, and I already have this other girl seemingly avoiding me. Also, I don't want to be known as the guy who just asks every girl out in his class. What should I do? Pass on this girl and date outside my course or just go for it.
Author counterman Posted June 17, 2011 Author Posted June 17, 2011 Has the other girl given you any indication that she is interested in you? No, in fact, I haven't even spoken to her I just think she's cute and would have introduced myself already, but it is almost holidays, so when school starts again. My suggested mode of attack is: 1.) Crawl under her desk. 2.) Pop out between her legs. 3.) Look into her eyes. 4.) Ask her "Would you like a date?" Might get booted out of uni for that Not to mention being stepped on

Author counterman Posted June 17, 2011 Author Posted June 17, 2011 Touche. It's an extremely busy period at the moment and I can't afford any distractions. It's a lame excuse but I just have to ... wait, as much as I want to do it right now Plus, there's no guarantees in life. Even if I do decide to ask her out, she might reject me. But by not asking, I've been rejected already, so yeah, I'll ask her out asap.
somedude81 Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Has the other girl given you any indication that she is interested in you? Only a fool would wait for a girl to give him an indication of interest before he asks her out.
