quietGuy13 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) People say be your self. but being yourself doesn't really work. Women dont' like men like me. But i'm being me, so then what? I have to be another person? For example at my (FORMER) job, all the women there teased me and would get angry because i was quiet. Even when i tried my best to say something they would tease me. just cause i spoke slow. So i dont know how you can be yourself. Edited June 14, 2011 by quietGuy13 title was wrong
Ouroboros Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Women who do that are garbage and aren't worth talking to.
Datura Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Women dont' like men like me. But i'm being me, so then what? I have to be another person? So it's your nature to think of yourself as "stupid and ugly"? Sorry, not buying it.

Datura Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Then you don't know people or read his previous posts. My response was based on his past posts... ya done?

Datura Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) Translation: I don't buy that this insecurity is "being himself." Insecurity can be overcome, and is by no means authentic. It compromises the person, rendering him/her unable to truly be who he/she is. Chances are that is what is coming through to women: lack of self assurance. Edited June 14, 2011 by Datura

USCGAviator Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Being yourself is the correct way to go. Why the hell wouldn't you?
