But there was no update after I agreed to it. After a lot of silence, I asked whether we were still going out. His explanation was that he was too busy with work and forgot about it. He said he was still free on the day he earlier scheduled. I told him I wasn't anymore. He asked for a reschedule. I don't plan to because he was never tardy before but when it was time for an actual going out, he was so busy he forgot. The other reason not to reschedule was I don't like to wait for responses and he could still be busy to respond. What would you have done?
ShatteredReality Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 I've been out of the "dating game" for a long time. But. Personally. If I wanted to date a guy I'd date him. I'd give him a second chance to make the date. I am not one to wait around, nor am I the type who liked to be strung along. I'm also not a "one strike you're out" kind of girl either. I would set up a second date...I'd also be clear that I need confirmation. Just tell him you scheduled over the other date because he never got back to you, so please let you know this time. If he doesn't...be done with him...if he does then there ya go. Maybe he was nervous or had a lot going on...in the beginning of a relationship you're not yet a Part of his life...until you are you don't know what's going on to cause him to or not to call you.
Author caseinpoint Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 On one hand I want to reschedule. On the other not so much. I was disappointed and was worried that if I reschedule, he would disappoint me with some other issues again. Anyone else have some comments?
