Gt.ooh Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I just wanted to stress this point to any new dumpee and even for some of us dumpees that have been on LS for a while... Take it from me who`s been all over the place...from hoping..to wishing...to anger...to complete and utter disappointment. Find something that will make you happy ASAP!! Hobby, friends, going on a road trip..anything! It saves a lot of heartache that we don`t need. Cheers.
dreamingoftigers Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Give yourself some joy too, joy is attractive, if the dumper can't realize that, then they are a doofus anyways.
ReturnToSender Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Great reminder and just in time for me.... wish Id seen it last nite before I went off on my ex LoL! But today is just as good to see this!
Author Gt.ooh Posted November 5, 2010 Author Posted November 5, 2010 LOL, well return...It happens to the best of us. We've all been there, and once we have there's no need to go back. Stay strong my friend!
Nemicron Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I think thats really kind of you to post that. I hope it helps some folks out there dealing with the pain of all that
Author Gt.ooh Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 (edited) No problem, I hope everyone takes it in.. Regardless if you just broke up, or not... Whatever is happening in your ex's life is happening whether we like it or not. If you still check their FB, and see the pictures of the new person..or just pictures of them having fun. Regardless it's happening, no control anymore. Also, if you can't handle the new pics then delete FB! Take life as it comes and enjoy the small things. As some of you have read I'm considering a dog. Big commitment, but unconditional love..does it get any better than that? Also a great way to meet new people. So grab a hold of something, and run with it see where it takes you, and put your best foot forward. Life's too short to sweat the things we cannot control. Edited November 6, 2010 by Gt.ooh
