Insanitylater Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I dont know if its just me, but when I see a woman's dating profile, and she has webcam photos, thats a huge mental turnoff. It makes me feel like she spends too much time on the computer, especially women over 35, just creeps me out. I dont think they realize how valuable a good photo is.
Jane Doe Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I think the type of photo and what someone is wearing (if anything!) tells quite a bit about a person. I agree that a person should take the time to have a decent, real, pic taken of them....not just a webcam shot.

On a particular website that I visit, a woman sent me a flirt and she looked pretty decent, then I noticed that her profile said she had 6 kids, so I took a look at some of her other photos. She must've been about 350 lbs, and kind of ugly to boot. You should post an average pic of yourself.
sagetalk Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 You should post an average pic of yourself. Agreed, it's not fair to post an excellent image of yourself that you cannot live up to.

irc333 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Actually, webcam photos suck, you can't tell what they look like from those and it's always blurry or grainy. They should get a regular picture taken in decent lighting, preferrably outside. Just something that's clear (and realistic). Most webcam pics I've seen are too blurry.
