Any time white girls approach me, I think gold digger, hates men, probably will accuse me of sexual assault soon, etc. I know not all asian girls are angels and not all white girls are bad, but I just feel a lot safer around asian girls. Is this a problem or just my dating preference (like some girls don't date guys shorter than 6 ft.)?

Seriously,if you do, I would be worried... for the white girl. Concerning Asian girls, I have friends who are Korean and Filipinos, and they are awesome and are very fun and smart and beautiful. My friends who are white are the same: fun, smart, and beautiful. So, I hope that if you do date an Asian girl, that you treat her wonderfully and that you care for her and not make her into what you want, but accept her for who she, a unique woman, is. Hopefully you fall in love with her for HER, not just because she is not white.
Cee Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I don't have a problem with your preferences. It limits the pool of women a bit, but if you are a worthy guy, you'll find a woman who'll date you. Hopefully, you'll be sensitive to the racism and stereotyping Asian women face. I have a mild preference toward Jewish men & I've tried to be sensitive to Anti-Semitism.

But you know what I DON'T like? How you are generalizing all white women, how you are making very incorrect assumptions about them. I have yet to see any white females who hate men. Many of whom I have met just LOVE penis! But since I'm white, I obviously don't care what your penis looks like. I just want to suck your money from you (and not said organ!) while I tolerate being around you. You know, since I truly hate men and all.

But regardless of the "preferred race" of OP, I doubt any girl would be happy knowing the reason a guy is with her is because of her race...

There are certain people I wouldn't date because of their race because I don't care for the culture and that - along with their families - would be part of the package. I think your rationale sounds pretty jaded though. I knew a guy who was married to a Japanese woman - spent a couple of years trying to get her green card for the U.S. He bragged about how she did everything for him, and then he constantly cheated on her because he had no respect for her. Go figure.

I myself prefer white women because I am simply more attracted to their facial features, however it is not due to cultural stereotypes. I think that might be the wrong way of looking at it. Not all white women are men-hating gold diggers and not all asian women are cute little dolls you can mold into however you want. Same as how black women aren't all "ghetto." Of course some from all these demographics fit these stereotypes and that's where you have to use common sense and good judgement. Date someone who you are physically attracted to / find interesting and during this process weed out unsavoury applicants (eg gold diggers, liars etc). I usually tend to fall for white girls but a good number of times I've had a crush on some of my asian friends (and one ridiculously hot Persian girl in my school).
