robaday Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Just wondering whether you could help me out with something. I'm dating a girl who does not know when a date is over. We've gone out, had a great time, she's stayed round at mine, the following day we've gone for breakfast, then I'd assume she'd have things to do. Despite dropping hints by the train station (purposely chosen cafe right nearby) that I have things to do and have plans later in the day, she follows me back to mine after cafe. We go inside I emphasize I have to get ready, start cleaning up, take a shower, she doesn't bat an eyelid. When its time to go she walks to train station with me. This has happened a few times. Once I even offered to order a taxi.......I dont want to be rude but its starting to annoy me.
Mike B. Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Don't be a pushover. Just tell her you have things to do so you will have to see her later. Bye! It's that simple. If she is still standing there after you say it, tell her that you are going to walk her to the train now and start walking her to the train. That simple.
that girl Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 She wants to spend the day with her, it doesn't occur to her to get up and leave. It is pretty passive agressive to pick a cafe near a train station in the hopes that she will get the hint and go home. If you want her to leave say something like "I've had a great time, but I have some stuff I need to get done on my own. I'll call you tomorrow." Also, it sounds like she might consider you her boyfriend rather than the guy she is seeing.
D-Lish Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 When you wake up, after you've banged her again, say "I've got some stuff to do today, but lets grab some breakfast and then I'll walk you to the train station". Problem solved.
