FAQthis Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 So I met this very nice girl at a cocktail party. We went on 2 dates afterwards. Contrary to my common dating approach I decided to portray a proactive interest in her. But iam afraid I mishandled it and came on too strong. We had two dates, which went pretty well, I certainly sensed a level of interest from her side. While we maintained most of the conversations through text msging, her style was a bit formal and she was never trigger happy to respond. Obv trying to keep some distance. I was also unsuccessful in trying to set up a third date I would pretty much txt her to find out her weekend plans for 2 weeks but my initiatives were put down, primarily cause of her hanging out w friends, even though she didn't mind meeting up while with them. In fact that's what I ended up doing, only to see her spend time w her friends and evenrually leaving to a diff place without letting me know. This is very new to me, and kind of confusing, primarily the reason why I want to actually pursue her more (standard I know). What should I do if I want to see her again? When should I eventually stop? Thanks
USMCHokie Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 1. Stop texting. CALL. 2. You should stop now. She's not interested. Move on.
Fouts Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Ya, whatever interest she had has worn off. Don't beat yourself up, it probably wasn't anything that you did, she just wasn't up for it for whatever reason right now. She has your number, let it go. Maybe she'll call you down the road and the ball will be in your court.
