After that, it is nice to take a day off every now and again. Five minutes to say "goodnight" before bed is fine, but I dont really care to hear about all the minutia of a woman's day when I'm trying to relax and watch "the game". yeah we're not in a relationship, met once

Pyro Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 There's a difference between liking somebody and being obsessed. this right here. Fine line between 24/7 and still being interested. I personally like keeping in contact on a daily basis but we both need time and space to breathe as well.

counterman Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 From personal experience, the more I spoke to my ex, the greater the chance we would have a fight. We spoke everyday. Started off okay, and then we argued like every 2nd day. I think we were getting into each other's spaces a little and it became an obligation to talk everyday on the phone. I would keep contact short of it's daily.

However, when I'm in a relationship, I like to check-in at least once a day. That could be a visit, a phone call, a text, an email... My gf and I don't go an entire day w/o some sort of communication unless we know in advance we're not going to be able to for some reason. We love each other and we want to be part of each others' lives. However, we both have our own things, too (work, hobbies, friends).

Feelin Frisky Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Depends on the girl and my feelings about her. If I think she's a player I won't let myself get too gaga and call every day. If I think she's really reciprocal and there's no reason to think otherwise, sure, every day, as long as she's good on the phone. I wouldn't want to have to peel an onion every day.
