What, they afraid you'll find them or something? Come on it's a whole city! LOL

Yeah, I was in the middle of an IM with her, and I asked her where she lived in < XXXXX county> And she gives a smart ass answer "around" Of course, I do live in a suburban area, a lot of uneducated rednecks, so it's probably par for the course. lol

Um, I put my location in my profile, I have a city listed. Not sure where you got that idea from. I get a kick out of how people assume such things from posts

I would think if a woman doesn't have a city in her profile it is because she is afraid of giving out to much info online.. or she lives in another country

EasyHeart Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 IF I lived in a smaller town, I wouldn't want to give out my location. If you live in Chicago or San Francisco, it's going to be pretty hard to track someone down. But if you live somewhere with 2000 people, it would be pretty easy.

There's not enough information either way to track someone down, it's impossible. All you have is a picture, her telling about herself in her profile, and that's it....oh yeah, and "Somewhere, California" lol. Granted I live in a small-ER town, it's not all that small...it's populated decently, but not as populated as Atlanta or larger cities. Though, I have SEEN this one woman on a dating site, that goes to my church, lol....of course, that's all moot. IF I lived in a smaller town, I wouldn't want to give out my location. How bout not even putting pictures of yourself up, I think that'd be even MORE of a reason, so you won't be recognized in public....of course people who don't put pics up use that as an excuse, too. So, if you're putting "Somewhere, CA" and guys aren't emailing you, chances are they might think you're some fake Russian mail order bride or something. LOL
