CLC2008 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 So the man I am currently dating, we've been corresponding ever since our last date which was last week. Last night, I had gone to meet up with some friends at this cool coffee house they have a few towns over. He ended up surprising me and stopped by and we hung out for a couple hours. We have plans to go out tomorrow night, and since he picked the spot the first night, he said for me to pick a place this time. I was thinking about Dave and Busters, which I have always wanted to go and I thought it would be a good place to go on a Sunday. Would that be a good place to go for a second date? I'm also not wearing a dress this time around, so I don't have to worry about any leggy mishaps.
Mike B. Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I think Dave and Busters is fine. Matter-of-fact, I just got back from there last night on a first date and we had a blast. We were initially at a sports bar and I got up from my chair and asked if she was ready to go. She wasn't and suggested that we go to Dave and Busters. We did and had a great time and I think you will too. It's actively doing something instead of just sitting down and watching a movie or drinking which is good.
LisaLee Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I have never heard of D&B, so I had to google. Sounds like it would be a good place to go to. What would be your other options?

It seems like a fun place to go and reasonable price wise. And, they have football oriented Sundays, so if he's into sports it works out good for him too. :lmao:

Well since it's Sunday, I was also thinking of maybe a movie and afterward, going for dessert at a nice cafe.
EricaH329 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Dave and Busters sounds *great*!!! I would have done that for a first date! I'm glad to hear that you are out enjoying yourself

USMCHokie Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Dave & Busters is a great second date venue. They are usually located in malls, so you can also walk around the shops, maybe have a fro-yo or a pretzel or something, and just talk and people watch. Have fun! Malls seem to be strangely enjoyable for me as date venues...I don't know why...

That's either for teenagers or people who are already in a relationship.

Hmmm, good point...I retract my previous statement... Fro-yo is frozen yogurt. I personally hate it.
Raderick Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I did D&B for a first date and ended up blowing $70 while my date spent a grand total of........ zero. I hope both of you are ready to split the costs.

Raderick Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 They have an eat and play combo for $15.99 per person. It was my first time there and we didn't know. Then again we spent about 4 hours playing so $10 didn't really cut it

Then again we spent about 4 hours playing so $10 didn't really cut it I'll ask him to time our date to make sure that we are only there for a limited amount of time in order to not exceed the $10 game limit.
Green Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Is it just me or is CLC hot to trot? If I were him I'd show you how to play the arcade games by standing behind you and getting a good feel.
