My only complaint is that we are both so social that we haven't had a chance to hang out in the apartment yet. He's happy in his relationship with his boyfriend (his story would make a great second chances thread), so we can add him as another relationship success story. Time to touch myself. Philetus Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 My gf and I will celebrate our two month 'anniversary' tomorrow. From our first date I knew she was very special, and she felt the same. We had instant chemistry and wound up in bed together on our first date. (We joke now about how we managed to keep our clothes on for almost four and a half hours.) We had the exclusivity and relationship talk on our fourth date, not even two weeks into our relationship. We declared our love for each other around six weeks in. Things are going extremely well. She's getting to know my kids (she doesn't have any). My daughter, especially, really likes her. My gf is a former model and knows everything about fashion and my daughter loves that. My ex is very cool with the whole thing. We're talking about the future: about living together, about taking a trip to Europe next summer, and we've even touched on the subject of having a baby (I'm 44, she's 37 so time is short). Life is good.

I married a wonderful man, he's got a fine mind and a great sense of humor, plus he's a good lover and a great dad--and every day he tells me how lucky HE feels to be with ME. We've been together 5+ years and through some stressful times as well as joyful ones, and he's my best friend, our relationship means the world to me. We're happy. And he made the MOST AWESOME chocolate chip pancakes for my stepdaughter's birthday breakfast today.
