Gold Pile Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I was awakened in the wee hours Sunday morning by an ambulance. They were there for one of my neighbors. I noticed one of the EMTs was an attractive female. I washed up and headed out. When she finally stood still for a moment (I guess they had urgent business:confused:) I told her she disturbed my sleep and that she should at least go on a date with me to make up for her transgression. She was very amused and cheerful, but clearly had zero intentions of going out with me. Soon a weather beaten, (but attractive) 40ish female cop arrived. I gave her the same line, she told me to stand aside. Being as I was already awake at this ungodly hour, I sat on a split rail fence an made some crank calls to some enemies. They soon wheeled my neighbor out and started wrapping things up. The officer asked to see my ID. After a little protest I gave her my license. She said if I checked out ok I'd get that dinner date. When I asked for her number she said she'd call me. She declined to take my number. I wasn't sure if she was for real or not. Today my unlisted phone rang, it was her (those cops sure have resources) we have a date Friday night.
