alexlakeman Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I am vaguely entertaining getting a Bengal cat for inside my place, since I can't have a dog..but a cat doesn't sound like a "guy's" pet ... What do you women think of guys with a cat? Irrelevant? Significant problem? Whatever? LOl tks
Star Gazer Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I find it weird. Can't quite explain why.
Woggle Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I love cats and I am certainly not a feminized man. If you want a cat then get one and don't worry about what a woman thinks.
Feelin Frisky Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I have no use for cats or dogs. Fooey.
carhill Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 My experience has been that women 'like' men who are cat fanciers, but 'attraction' relevant to that dynamic varies. Personally, I don't really care. I saved my cat from a needle at the shelter and he's a steadfast companion. Siamese are more like dogs in that regard.
Confusedalways Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 not a huge fan, but also it doesn't 'lose' many points either. If the apt is all fuzzy that's a different story...
runner Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 A guy with cats? Hot! he-man had a cat
Cee Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Main problem I foresee are cat allergies. It can be a problem, since you can't say to a GF, "Allergic to cats? No problem. I'll kick the kitty to the curb." I'm not a pet person so I'm not crazy about cats, but they are less time consuming than dogs.
tigressA Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I don't like cats, but if I'm really into a guy and he has one (or more) I'd be fine with it. It's certainly not a dealbreaker.
make me believe Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 My experience has been that women 'like' men who are cat fanciers, but 'attraction' relevant to that dynamic varies. Personally, I don't really care. I saved my cat from a needle at the shelter and he's a steadfast companion. Siamese are more like dogs in that regard. LOL! I love your cat! "mehh" I am a total crazy cat lady, and I once dated a guy who had two cats, which I thought was super cool. But, you know, there are a lot of guys who would blow me off because I have three (THREE!) cats, AND I'm a vegetarian, and my thoughts on that are if you 'next' me based on something like that I'm better off without you.
aerogurl87 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I don't care if the guy has a cat as long as he takes care of it and gives it lots of love and attention. I care more about his personality and how he is as a person. With that said my boyfriend and I plan to get a little kitten when we get our first place together.
Ruby Slippers Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I love cats and have one, so I would love it.
tigressA Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I don't care if the guy has a cat as long as he takes care of it and gives it lots of love and attention. I care more about his personality and how he is as a person. I agree with this too. If a guy I'm dating has a cat or any other pet and doesn't care for it properly, ignores it, etc--that is a definite dealbreaker.
Anela Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I'm a crazy pet lady, so someone who likes animals, would be great.
denise_xo Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 If you want a cat then get one and don't worry about what a woman thinks. For once I agree with Woogle Personally, I think animals belong outside or in a barn, not in my in door living space.
lilbunny Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I have a cat so it is a good thing. I think cats are very much independent creatures who do as they please and know their own minds. If a man can appreciate this then I think is a very good sign. Saying that the only animal that is a dealbreaker is a snake, only because I honestly couldn't go anywhere near it and I doubt I could even feel comfortable being in the house where I knew there was one, not even in the same room.
tman666 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 At least they won't have to wonder if you like pussy or not.
jerbear Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 At least they won't have to wonder if you like pussy or not. My thoughts exactly. Plus petting pussy is a good thing.
flying Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I wouldn't think anything about you as a person, except that it's nice you like animals so it speaks well of you. But...I wouldn't be able to date you, due to allergies. I love cats; tragedy of my life. On the other hand, dogs are awesome too. Ani-pals rock.
GooseChaser Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I like cats; actually, I love all sorts of animals and pets.
Taramere Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I'd be very impressed if I went home with a guy, only to discover that he had a really well cared for pussy. Nothing wrong with that at all.
FearandLoathing Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I love men with animals, so cute :)
tman666 Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 This thread is kind of a joke... about vaginas
jerbear Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 This thread is kind of a joke... about vaginasThat is when we get into short hairs, long hairs, hairless and body types (oriental, long, short). :lmao:
