Is it strange to miss your ex this much, even when breaking up seemed right?

So, I posted on here awhile back, debating whether to break up with my girlfriend or not. I ended up doing it about 2 months ago and although I don't necessarily regret it, I have been really sad about it for the past two months and it kind of sunk me into a bit of a depression. After already feeling depressed, I found out the other day that she has moved on already and is dating someone else. This is great and I want her to be happy, but it has also been hard to accept.

To sum up the reasons I broke up with her - I was only attracted to her about 50% of the time near the end of our relationship, I couldn't picture myself with her in the long term, and although she was nice to me always she wasn't the friendliest girl to others. However, I've been super sad since we broke up, and wondering if this is normal even when the person doesn't "seem right" for you, OR if it's a sign I shouldn't have broken up with her?

I'm fairly new to this dating stuff (for complicated reasons that I won't go in to explaining), but this breakup has been rough! I'm learning... Thanks for listening and any advice welcome :)

ITs possible that she is a perfectly nice person, but not perfect for you. And even though you miss her in your life, its better to end things now, than to continue and end up with a bad marriage or something later.

No, it's not a sign that breaking up was a mistake it's a sign that you have a heart and you cared about her. Perfectly normal.
