a_woman Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 my last SO was in the British Army and for obvious reasons his job was a huge part of our conversations. On most days I'm up to date on the number of British casualties in Afghanistan and follow the current strategic review. I know a fair number of former or current officers. Last Friday I had a pub conversation with a 'weekend warrior' about his bomb disposal training. Unfortunately while my ex is in the Army I will worry to some degree and will keep following his line of work.
