One opens their inbox and life gets crazy again. Let me explain...

About 4 years ago, I met this guy on MySpace. We met in the flesh, we had a few get togethers. I liked him. Then, after we had done the deed, the next day I get an email from him through MySpace. He was telling me that he was very confused and very whatever about things, he was going to see his old girlfriend again that night. Needless to say, I was furious. Why he couldn't at least have called and told me this on the phone showed his cowardice. I had just been played by a real player and I felt like an a******. And after that, I promptly cut off all communications with him. Eventually as we all dumped MySpace and that was the only means in which he had to communicate with me, he lost me. Add that to my last serious boyfriend being one of if not the most abusive people I'd ever had the misfortune of meeting left me a bunch of raw nerve ends. Then, around Christmastime, he sent me a message. I read it since whenever one gets a message it's forwarded to your regular email inbox. It was asking just how I was. I did not respond. Then, yesterday, I got a message from him asking to see me again. It actually said "Why don't we just skip the phone calls and have me come over and see you?"

Now, please don't think that I am asking the forum here "What should I do?" because that is not the issue here. What I fear is another message I got in my Facebook inbox today from someone else who asked if I wanted to meet him sometime soon. I have met this person face to face only once or twice, and the length of our conversation was just "Hi how are you?" when we had them. I don't know him at all except for his name and that we had been to a few parties together here and there. The issue is that I am afraid that this new person will end up being just as horrible as the rest of them. I have really, honestly, truly begun to question many men all around me, thinking that each and every one of them are spineless cowards and selfish pigs and just waiting to take advantage of any unsuspecting woman around the corner. I just happen to be that woman to both of these cases. What to do?
