I have a general question. I was recently asked out on a first date :bunny:, and he suggested we go out this Friday. Is it typically a good sign if a guy asks you out for a weekend night versus a week night?

And, what do guys generally like in terms of what a woman wears on a first date?

Friday is a 'relaxed' night out IMO.

What a woman starts out wearing I really don't mind, as long as she is wearing me out later. :o

Good God you're lazy. :lmao:

But yes, I think Friday can be a nice relaxing night, especially since it's after work.

I always made it a point to go out on Fridays after work, unwind night is Friday night. I hope you two have a good time, maybe bring some maraschino cherries...;)

As for lazy...no, just a renaissance man who believes in equality and all that stuff......:lmao:

Is this neighbor guy?! :bunny:

Anyway, I think a weekend night is a good sign. Wear whatever makes you feel good. Depending on the venue, dress it up or down.

Yes you're right. Good call. Thank you. :)

Equality, ah, very true. :bunny:

No, I haven't seen him in a while.

Yes, I think I'll see where we're going first, that should help with what to wear. Thanks girlie!

I agree that Friday is a more relaxed date night...it's the end of the workweek for most people, so it's usually not like a special-special night, if that makes sense...but it's more special than a week-night date. Saturdays are the special date nights, IMO. If he takes you out on a Saturday, that's a really good sign. :)

When I ask a girl out - we settle on a day that works for both of us. What day that turns out to be doesn't have any meaning. The only thing about work night dates I generally try to have them wrapped up and be home by around 10pm at the latest. On the weekend nights - they could potentially last all night.

Weekend night dates are good. Those nights are a personal time that could be spent in a number of other ways, yet he chose to spend it with you. :)

All good perspectives. We agreed on Friday as it worked best for both of us, he's doing something with his friends Saturday night and I have my monthly girls din din and festivities with my female friends, so it works out.

I don't think the day of the week matters all that much. The guy asked you out on a date, so he obviously likes you. The rest is all reading way too much into it lol.

Friday and Saturday night date invites are great because nobody is going to be worried about how late the date will go on...

Weekday invites are "safer", in that, if the date is less than enjoyable, you can always say..."got to go, have an early day tomorrow"....

Have fun! and report back!:p

Because the date is not with me, I recommend you don't shower or wear decent clothes. Also don't do your hair. Show up really late.

Johan, I will wear Mom jeans and a hair net just for you. :p

Unfortunately, I think you'll probably still look good.

It's nice to hear, it gives a boostie of confidence before a first date.
