SilentVoice Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 So meet this guy from OKC about a week ago. We went out like 4 times (today being the last). Anyway I decided I didn't want to bulls#$t him. And told him I didn't see this working out. He said ok and than we had an awkward speeding silenced drive home.I am not mad that I ended it or how I ended it. Since I could have just ignored him after the date but I decided to grow a pair and just tell him (which I am kind of proud about since I tend to be very passive, anyway I am not looking for validation). I just wanted to know if I should write him and email or maybe shot him a text and be like . I really enjoyed our dates and I hope that you find someone right for you?.... :-(

Be clear and direct, but kind. I know it would have given me peace of mind had the guy I saw from the site written me and let me know he wasn't interested, rather than taking the coward's way out.
USMCHokie Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Absolutely not. All those farewells and goodbyes should have been done in person on that last date. If you missed that chance, then there's no need to twist the knife.
AverageJoe Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Absolutey not. You made yourself perfectly clear. No reason to follow up on what you have already outlined. At the end of the day, he may not like it, but he will respect you for it. Well done.
Author SilentVoice Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 Yeah that is kind of what I want to avoid. I have to remember that me and him are not friends .I have no reason to write him. Thanks for the replies guys
