I've been in two LTRs that have taken up all of my adult life so far (12 years in these LTRs). Which means, I have to admit it, I have 0 game. Anyway I am looking to ask out a girl I met at a store yesterday. She works in a store next to me, I was in a rush, so I could not really talk to her. Anyway, I want to ask her out but am not sure the best approach. When she helped me yesterday she was giving me a lot of attention and floating around me when she wasn't helping me.

So I was thinking about going back in today when I have a little more time and when she asks if she can help me replying "no, I thought you could use a break and it'll be more fun to talk to me for a bit than to go sit in the back." or Going back in and just being a little more blunt saying "I don't want to take you away from your job of helping these teeny boppers (she works in a clothes store mostly for teens) but I'd really like a chance to see if the inside is as interesting as the out. I was going to a club after work and wanted to see if you wanted to come."

I know this sounds like a question a question a 13 year old might ask, but like I said, I have never "picked up" a girl and do not know what I am doing

Me too! I've pretty much been in a LTR since high school through my entire twenties (less a year or two in between). I had just turned 31 when I officially entered the dating world, so it can be a bit overwhelming.

I don't think inviting her to a club would be a good choice for a first date, maybe something more low key would be nice.

Good luck out there, it's tough! :o:lmao:

Invite her out to happy hour for a drink after work first, not a club... you can't even talk in a club, or invite her out to lunch one day since you both work next to each other..

I dont know if I'd use that inside and out line but that's just me. :)
