Labster12 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Maybe it wasn't this way when you guys were in high school but in my generation, it kinda is this way. You have a girlfriend, good job you are excluded from being called a loser. You don't have a girlfriend, either you are gay or either you don't have any skills with the ladies. My friend is a tall White guy, mainly of Italian and British descent. He has been hit on by many girls but he is still single. Thing is he wants himself a White girl but the area he lives in is mostly Black. Of course he is off to college now and hopefully he finds the girl of his dreams but it is like people kept pressuring him to date somebody an get a girlfriend in high school. When he didn't people said he was gay or either an outcast. I don't get it, so someone is patient and doesn't go for the first girl that splits her legs for him, all of a sudden he doesn't have skills with the ladies? I never got that.
loverofloveandstuff Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 I've never gotten the impression that guys who don't have a girlfriend automatically fall into a 'loser' category. Lots of guys I know like the freedom of being single and don't want a relationship and nobody I know thinks they're a loser because of it... Actually, 'player' is a word thrown around more often to describe them.
