I was really giddy and excited at first, and then once i find out that he likes me, i seem to lose interest. Is this normal? I hate that i feel this way. I dont want to lost interest with him, because i know that i like him alot too... Or when i am falling in love with a person, i alway seem to be running away. Please help me figure out whats wrong with me....

It could be that you believe that you don't deserve to be loved and when a guy shows interest you subconsciuosly push him away to maintain your false belief. You may have developed this belief from a number of sources such as inconsistent love from or between your parents as you were growing up, observing poor relationship models as you were growing up, or a past relationship where you were not treated properly. It could also be that once you find out a guy is interested in you, it means that he will get to see and learn more about you, including the parts about yourself that you don't feel comfortable about. As a result, your fears kick in and you run to relieve the anxiety you are feeling. Do any of those resonate with you?
CLC2008 Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 It's called crush'itis. More questions one can ask themselves... What's the longest relationship you've had? Have all of your relationships been short term, fleeting, etc.?
sugarmomma Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 What westrock said OR you just get emotionally invested toooo quick. How can you be "in love already"?? How long have you known him? How long have you dated? What exactly do you love about him especially if you don't know him very well.
