gsly Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 so there's this girl who i've been friends with for about two years now and pretty much we used to txt each other sparingly(spelling), i would say we both had seperate relationships up until i would say a month ago, hers lasted about a year mine was about two months,she dumped him and i dumped my ex. well anyways her and i have been talking alot more then we used to, i've already asked her on a date and she's said yes but we really havent set a actual day to go. we ended up meeting at the fair about a week ago where she gave me a kiss on the cheek out of the blue right before she left(we were both a little sick and i was fine with that, i wasnt expecting it either). well last night i was txting her because i was just a little bored and i was watching some friends play volleyball at the bar when out of the corner of my eye i saw her. i didnt say anything cuz i wanted see if she would say anything, she didnt cuz she was way on the other side of it. so i txt her sayin i was there and i went and sat by her on the bleachers for the last 1 or so of the games. she left like a half hour before me and when i left i sent her a txt saying it was great see'n her and hope she feels better in the morning. i guess what im trying to get from this is would it be wrong for me to say that she looked beautifull(even though she was in her pjs and not really dressed up she did look beautifull), i dont want to end up just being friends and i can tell she likes me a little bit. I really do like this girl and need help proving to her

The next time you talk to her, it should be with the precise goal of getting together, just the two of you. If she flakes then forget about her, if she doesn't then take her out and show her that you want her.

Well, even if you are afraid, it sounds like you really like this girl, so just go for it! You said she already said yes, but that you hadn't made any clear plans. So, maybe you can use that as some sort of confidence booster. If you don't, you're just going to beat yourself up. I'm not a huge expert on this, but perhaps you could ask her out to dinner? Since you've known her for a while, it seems appropriate. I assume you two can carry a conversation comfortably.

I just dont want her to get annoyed by me hinting..pretty much evenings are shot for me since i work til 10 pretty much every night..like as an example im going to get ice cream shortly after dinner and i want to just txt her saying if your not busy and in the mood for ice cream im going to "..." to get some desert and thought i would see if you would like to join me..
