Heckler Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I have problem with way overthinking things instead of jsut going with the flow. I tend to "weigh the options" so long, that she gets bored and moves along. I am interested with this girl at work. We spend alot of time together outside of work in group situations, ie: sports events, group hikes, work happy hour nights. We have even gone out for dinner or drinks on our own after these group meet ups. We text back and forth daily and flirt quite a bit while together, but I have yet to really pull the trigger and ask her out on a "proper" date... My hangups are, she's 21 and I'm 9 yrs older, we work together, and I work a cube away from her last ex. Is it a bad idea to actually persue her or am I just being a big pu**y and I need to man up and take some action? Actually take a risk for once?
Star Gazer Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 ...am I just being a big pu**y and I need to man up and take some action? Actually take a risk for once? As my grammy used to say, "You can't steal second base while keeping one foot on first." Man up, dude.
L3stat Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Man up, its your way of making excuses if you want to do something your gonna do it and if your not confident enough you try to talk yourself out of it and look for a way out, you want other people to tell you no. you said it yourself, " you weight the options so long that she lose interest" if that happens than you gonna be in your cubical by yourself instead of having office sex. Man up;)
