Tattyteddy Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Ok here's my story. I'm 24 and my boyfriends 26, we have been together for 10years. We've had our problems in the past like most couples but have always been strong. We get on great, always having a laugh and enjoy eachovers company. Until recently when we was having an argument he said he's bored now. At first he said the sex was routine which I could understand and said we could try new things, bout now he's saying its not as easy as that because he doesn't fancy me or find me sexually attractive anymore. He doesn't cuddle me anymore or hold my hand. I dnt even think he wants me to touch him anymore. I'm absolutly devastated and don't know what to do. 10yrs is a long time and I want to get that spark back. How can I be attractive to him again?
Rorschach Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Well, working on the assumption (that may or may not be correct) that you are not what I'd call 'classically pretty' (aka what most people think of when they think attractive) then the answer is pretty obvious. Without an idea about how you look right now it's hard to give specific advice but if you're overweight then you have to lose weight, if you don't pay much attention to how you look (hair is a mess skin is blotchy, etc etc) then take some steps to fix that (skin creams, hair care). Many of the steps that have to be taken going from unattractive to attractive can be very difficult and require a large amount of self control and dedication. But if you feel the relationship depends on it than you have to ask yourself is it worth it? Because the only way you could fail at improving yourself is if you just didn't want to badly enough. Now on the other hand if you're a nice looking women with no obvious flaws than there is nothing you can do and the relationship is probably just over at that point. These are 2 terrible options.
